HOUAT & HOEDIC

Houat and Hoëdic (respectively the "duck" and the "duckling" in the Breton language) are located a short distance from Belle-Île. Houat lives mainly by fishing and tourism. Its population varies from three hundred and forty inhabitants to three thousand visitors per day in summer. Hoëdic, small rocky land still further from the coast, has no less than one hundred and fifty inhabitants. Dune and moor landscapes dotted with sea daffodils characterize the two islands which are home to a remarkable flora, and a wide variety of rare species.

PORT DU CROUESTY

Port du Crouesty is actually the largest man-made marina in Brittany. This marina is a highly prized port of call.

PORT NAVALO

Port-Navalo (Porzh Noalou in Breton) is an old coastal fishing and pirate harbour, dating from the early 20^th century.

Located on the Presqu'île de Rhuys at the entrace to the Golfe du Morbihan, this coastal town has a panoramic view of Quiberon and Locmariaquer as well as the Golfe itself.
