WALKS ALONG COASTAL PATHS
Atlantic, Golfe du Morbihan, follow the many coastal paths surrounding the Presqu'île de Rhuys. Stroll along, lose your way, leave the beaten track, or follow a signposted path: Golfe du Morbihan headland circuits, Petit Mont circuit (megalithic site), Petit Mousse circuit in the direction of Port Navalo.
CHÂTEAU DE SUSCINIO (CASTLE)
From the 13th century, Suscinio was the favorite residence of the Dukes of Brittany. They regularly stayed there for the mild climate of the Presqu'île and for its huge hunting grounds. Then came the War of Succession in Brittany and the alliance of Anne de Bretagne with the French. From the 16th century the castle was progressively abandoned and ruined during the Revolution.
THE GOLFE DU MORBIHAN: ILE AU MOINES, ILE D'ARZ
The Golfe du Morbihan, "little sea" in the Breton language, is a small inland sea covering nearly 100 km².
Legend tells that there are as many islands there as there are days in the year!
Discover the Golfe du Morbihan by boat, walk along the coastal paths, enjoy unusual and changing scenery, varying according to the tides and the quirks of the weather. The mild sunny climate and the beauty of this coastline will continue to surprise you.
This Natura 2000 site is one of the largest bird sanctuaries, sheltering a large number of migratory species, but also stilts, little egrets, red-breasted merganser, and a variety of seagulls, etc.

Belle-Ile is one of the largest islands in Brittany. Between land and sea, beaches and citadel, the "well named" is a destination that should not be missed on any account.
HOUAT & HOEDIC
Houat and Hoëdic (respectively the "duck" and the "duckling" in the Breton language) are located a short distance from Belle-Ile. Houat lives mainly by fishing and tourism. Its population varies from three hundred and forty inhabitants to three thousand visitors per day in summer. Hoëdic, small rocky land still further from the coast, has no less than one hundred and fifty inhabitants. Dune and moor landscapes dotted with sea daffodils characterize the two islands which are home to a remarkable flora, and a wide variety of rare species.

PORT DU CROUESTY
Port du Crouesty is actually the largest man-made marina in Brittany. This marina is a highly prized port of call.
Shops, crêperies (pancake restaurants), ice-cream makers, café terraces, exhibitions, events, weekly market in summer, etc. Why not wander down to the quays?
Port-Navalo (Porzh Noalou in Breton) is an old coastal fishing and pirate harbor, dating from the early 20th century.
Located on the Presqu'île de Rhuys at the entrance to the Golfe du Morbihan, this coastal town has a panoramic view of Quiberon and Locmariaquer as well as the Golfe itself.
